SYSTEM FLOWCHAT     FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS) Q1. What happens if power fails? A1. The system should be run by the stand by generator. Q2. What happens if the generator fails? A2. When Power supply and Generator both fails (which is extremely unlikely), feeding must be stopped until the power is restored. Oxygen has to be fed from cylinders till generator/power is restored. Q3. What happens if any pump fails? A.3 Feeding must be stopped and a replacement pump should be installed or the pump has to be repaired as early as possible. Q4. What is the stocking plan, feeding plan, harvesting plan, and emergency handling plan? A4. Information will be provided during installation and trial run. In addition, an operation manual will be supplied, as well as an operator will be trained. Q5. How often should I clean the tank? A5. Before stocking every new batch. Q6. How can I prevent and control disease outbreak? A6. By sourcing healthy fingerlings, practicing and following good farming management, maintaining proper Bio security at culture area and applying proper medicine when necessary. Q7. Should I control visitors? A8. Absolutely. If visitors are to be allowed, he/she has to follow and maintain Bio security protocols, which will be explained during training. Q9. Can I use river/pond water? A9. Absolutely NOT. Since river/pond water may contain Bio hazardous materials, bacteria, mud, and chemicals, it will harm your total project. Q10. What will be the source of water? A10. Sub surface water using shallow tube well is the source of water. Q11. Is salinity in water a problem? A11. Little salinity in water causes no problem.
